| Who may join the Novice Team? |
|
Anyone from age 5
to 105. Any ability level as long as they know how to swim and are
interested in learning to dive. |

| What is our purpose? |
|
The main priority
of the Novice Program is to make sure all divers have fun, and learn to
dive in a safe manner using sound fundamentals and progressions. And
introduce diver's to competition. |

| How many divers per practice and how long is each
lesson? |
|
There are 8 to
10 divers per
lesson for 45 minutes. Please come 15 minutes early to stretch! |

| May you sign-up for more than one Practice? |
|
Practices
are only offered on Monday evenings, and if there is a schedule problem
than they will be offered on Wednesday evenings that week. Click here for an online

| Do you need insurance and what is the cost? |
|
All divers must be registered member of AAU Diving. These are secondary
insurance coverage's. This secondary insurance covers practices, dry board,
trampoline, & somersaulting out of belts This coverage only takes effect
after your primary insurance and deductibles are paid. The AAU secondary
insurance coverage also covers divers for any formally scheduled,
supervised, and conducted by a recognized sports organization, civic
group, or school, and the host rules must be enforced. The cost is $50 payable to
Blue Dolphin Diving
and is due prior to starting practice. All
divers must be a registered member of a secondary insurance plan in order
to attend practice. |
